Work Skeleton: Name

Work brief

State medium, audience, scope and the particular premise. Link applicable Core and existing authoritative content. Do not repeat shared canon as a new source of truth.

Conflict and participants

Link protagonist and opposition. Identify goal, motivation, stakes, thematic question, pressures and intended change. Explain how the conflict arises under the world's constraints.

Causal spine

Describe disruption, consequential events or decisions, escalation and payoff. Link the relevant arcs and facts. Use the structure that fits the work; a state-dependent game need not be a branching tree. Distinguish possible outcomes from shared historical truth.

Composition outline

For each chapter, scene, quest or encounter, record purpose, participants, entry conditions/knowledge, meaningful contribution or change, and links to authoritative records. Separate chronology from reveal order.

For novels, specify applicable viewpoint and expression conventions. For games, add player actions, choices, state changes, consequences and recovery where needed. Do not convert chapters into quests mechanically or require spatial design for a non-spatial interaction.

Representative slice and handoff

Record the walkthrough method, causal/continuity findings, alternate-order or missed-information checks where applicable, and unresolved questions. Link production briefs and identify what blocks drafting or implementation. Confirm relevant creator decisions before calling dependent content final.
